Advance Placement Travel, Inc. was established in July 1999, and is a 100% women owned business. In July 2004, new corporate offices were opened in Clearwater, Florida, in order to expand operations and increase employees. APT provides temporary healthcare staffing to hospitals, nursing facilities and clinics throughout the state of Florida. We also provide traveler contracts for Nursing, Radiology and Surgical Technology to 35 hospitals in several states, including New York, Maine, Colorado, Wyoming, California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, North Carolina and Texas. Approximately 75-80% of our staff comes from direct referrals. We subcontract with many health facilities throughout the United States, and endeavor to offer travel assignments where our employees wish to locate.
Since 1999, Advance Placement Travel, Inc. has averaged hundreds of temporary placements per year, employed over 400 RNs, LPNs, Radiology Technologists and Surgical Technologists as temporary staff and built up an extensive database of registered healthcare professionals.

Housing Advance Placement Travel, Inc. provides housing or a housing subsidy at nearly all assignments. Travelers are included in the housing selection process. We identify housing complexes through the use of local rental agents, the recommendations of our client facilities, Chambers of Commerce, and the recommendations of current and previous Travelers. When choosing a housing location, we prioritize the safety of each address and will work hand in hand with the Traveler to determine the best location.
Travelers generally are placed in their own one-bedroom apartment. Many properties offer amenities such as clubhouses and exercise facilities.
